It depends on what you are looking for in a show. Examples:
-Gaim was written by the creator of Puella Magicka Madoka, and has similarities with the anime's plot. So, if you know/like it, you will probably like Gaim too.
-Kuuga and Agito are a mix between Tokusatsu, crime drama and soap operas, focusing way more on character's interactions than on the monsters, villains and action.
-In-between those, you have tokusatsu that try to be a mix of Japanese or western pop culture shows (anime, novels, manga, literature, cinema), like Den-O, W, OOO/Ozu, Fourze, Wizard, Ghost, Ex-Aid and others.
-You also have those who rely heavily on the soap opera side, such as Faiz/555, Hibiki, Kiva.
-And then those who are isolated in their own category, such as Ryuki, Blade and Build.
so, basically, guide yourself based on what you like first, so you can watch a Kamen Rider show that will feel similar to what you like, so you can start getting used to the genre. Only after that should you go watch more shows in the genre.
