That type of sincere anger is a breath of fresh air these days. The way people get their drawers in a knot about being perceived as "cringe" or "edgy," even if it's only half serious or even completely exaggerated, is so gay. Everyone's so afraid of showing any personality or exhibiting any traits that could potentially fall outside of consensus-approved characteristics.

I've never been very big on most of the raging AVGN type of video humor (Tourettes Guy excepted), but written stuff like that pic does genuinely make me laugh. It reminds me a bit of Maddox. I actually used to be a big fan of The Best Page in the Universe, although I discovered him after his heyday (although thankfully still before Maddox totally jumped the shark).

A while ago I watched a YouTube video about those. It was pretty interesting how they had dedicated machines for those. Exactly as you'd expect from their operation, Hanna-Barbera really cheaped out on theirs.

Usually go for monster with vodka or jagermeister, vodka because I don't care much for the taste of alcohol and Jager because it does taste nice

I drink a wide variety of things, but I like whiskey the most.  I do not ever mix anything with it with the exception of occasionally making rye Manhattans or chill it. I particularly enjoy Islay single malts, and I consistently keep either Lagavulin 16 or the standard Laphroaig on hand. When I want something less assertively flavored for drinking with meals, I switch things up. I generally like to serve Nikka Coffee Grain Whiskey or Whistlepig Pigyback Rye depending on the dish. I also like try new whiskeys occasionally, and I was last impressed by 12 year old cask strength Redbreast. 
To be fair, I drink more beer than anything else, but that's mostly just something I have with lunch or dinner, especially if I'm not at home. I like anything other than the cheap piss water lagers, but IPAs, witbiers/weissbiers, and cream ales are what I generally gravitate toward.  I also really like Arrogant Bastard Ale and Belgian quads, but those are not realy something I would generally have with food and are more of an occasional treat.

No one is willing to do the needful of walking away from big tech and degoogling (plus deamazoning, demicrosofting...) their lives. But all other video hosts are either terrible in UI, slow as molasses, overloaded with politislop and "freeze peach" scummy scams (looking at you, gab and minds), or in most cases all three.

Maybe it's time for the ultra-rare few who do care, to go back to pre-pootube Internet of web2 and web1, and even earlier. If you can live without your let's plays, amateur true crime documentaries, lore icebergs, vtubers and other goonerbaiters of lonely losers into "donating/superchatting/tier3subbing" to thots who hate their audience, and so on.

I have to take this moment to tell everyone, please anons if you have a kitty and you notice any strange change in behavior, even if it minor, even if it's kitty becoming more grumble-some, or if you notice them walking a bit funny, PLEASE take then to the vet immediately. Because when whatever manifests, it's going to be too late and it'll happen to quick for you to do anything about it.

But to answer your question, the Enemy has done a great job of dumbing down the populace through a combination of making people too exhausted to think, and then supplying the slop they consume (because it doesn't require them to think.
It's the same reason why a guy who never works might read The Republic, while the working joe chooses to watch Family Guy.

Isn't it easier to just kick 'em out? I mean, BO's gonna have to moderate this cancer, and it usually spreads despite quarantines. If someone wants to do the /r9k/ thing there are already dedicated boards.

While we are on the subject of meta topics, I'd like to ask the BO why my thread on home medicine/apothecary was deleted. Did it break a rule? It can't really be off-topic since /late/ has many hobby threads. Just curious. Maybe I failed to meet some sort of culture test. I have been across many image boards so there may have been some etiquette I missed.
