Share anime wallpapers or high resolution anime images with a good aspect ratio for a wallpaper. You can use Waifu2X to enlarge and denoise images but it's not 100% accurate so take that into consideration.

http://waifu2x.udp.jp/index.html
https://sourceforge.net/projects/waifu2x-extension-gui/ (Desktop version. Now can work with AMD graphics cards and has many more options like enlarging and denoising gifs.)

You can use these to test if potential friends/business partners/wives are real japanophiles or just pretending. They should be able to get at least 80% of the ultrawide one, 50% of the periodic table and 20% of the hard one.

Too low resolution for me. Grainy and overcompressed. Not to mention I can't get how Shiki from KnK became Kr. I'm not japanofile enough, it seems.

'Bout time for a fresh new /loli/ stream thread!
I stream loli anime on cytube every Sunday at 12pm EST. I put up music (almost always 2hu arranges) an hour before the stream, and everyone is encouraged to add their own fun and entertaining videos for the post stream.

https://cytu.be/r/TewiAnimeStream

Same as always, I usually link an episode every day for everyone to download and watch at their own leisure, so check those out whenever you like! The current daily shos are: Zettai Karen Children, Fushigi Mahou Fun Fun Pharmacy, and Hime Chen! Otogi Chikku Idol Lilpri!

Post suggestions to keep the board eggcellent. Also a place for posts that don't deserve their own thread or posts that shouldn't be made in the first place. Keep it vaguely /animu/ related. If you have general site questions or worry about climate change you can make a thread on >>>/greta/
Beyond that, archive everything you care about. You never know when /animu/ servers will be vore'd by a giant Miku.

Most importantly, fight honorably.

Basically, this is a thread to discuss this rise of and currently ongoing online manga and anime series that have been popping up over the past several years. To post about some of the ones I have seen, there are:
>Bibliomania (Manga)
https://kai-you.net/series/94
>Milky☆Galactic (Anime)
https://milkygalacticuniverse.com/
>Noss & Zakuro (Manga)
https://twiiit.com/rariatoo
>Tireddog Animation (Anime)
https://redirect.invidious.io/channel/UCl2lw5qRbqOGpldCAK3jZEw

Let's try to keep this thread "Indie" for all intent and purposes. While some series like Future Card Buddy Fight, Ninjala, Rebirth, and Zoids Wild Senki were designed for online release, it feels like they "shouldn't count" due to them being made by professional studios.

I'd heard an interesting story while trying to get into Magical Girl Raising Project. Apparently, when the series was still in the public eye back around 2016-17 or so, it was discovered the guy who was doing translations at the time (PlatFleece I believe his name was) was actually incompetent at Japanese and making shit up as he went along (deleting or adding entire paragraphs for example), and everyone had fallen for it for like a year or so since nobody had bothered to get raws themselves and those that did and called Plat out were damage-controlled by a cocksucker cadre cultivated on Dicksword. The inability to verify until an entire retranslation of all the books up to that point was done played a large factor in the series falling into obscurity among Western circles, or so the story goes.

It was interesting to me because far as I knew at the time, bullshit TL stuff was done either by failed writers in official companies or agenda-driven cucks on Reddit and other such malcontent sites -- it kind of slipped my mind that autists could fuck up efforts for entirely separate reasons, like their own pride. That made me curious: What other examples of translation fuckery have you noticed in fan TL?

One thing I've noticed in the past few years is that when the characters are high schoolers the translators just stop translating and use the excuse of 'slang' to write whatever. Nagatoro and Bisque Doll being examples of that. Just watched Kirio Fan Club and

was translated to pic related, which isn't absolute shit but not good either

Responding to frumpy low effort fatsos certainly will be.
hmm
When I watch old/finished shows I like to watch two episodes each few days. It feels like a good middle ground between having enough time to think about the episodes while not feeling I watched too little to be satisfied each time. It takes a bit more for me to watch longer shows but I found it fullfilling.
When an anime has an odd number of episodes I also like to watch all last three chapters in the same watching session as as a sort of "big finale".
Replies: >>115176
>>115175
Watching the final three episodes in one go is much better than getting caught in the middle of the finale and having to wait a week.

Hey kid, ever wanted a cute doll in a frilly dress on your desk? Are you a weirdo who likes doll joints in fishnet stocking? Then this might be your hobby.
While the doll hobby is expensive starting out, the yen vs the dollar is better than ever. So if you're not worried about your budget for the next few years, then this is the best time to import from Japan. When buying dolls you're mainly buying things in segments. Hair, eyes, face/head, clothes, and replacement pieces for limbs/hands/feet/etc. That's why it's an expensive hobby initially. Once you have a body frame, everything else is just spent on the eyes, faces, hair, and clothing. Of course, you don't need to go crazy. No need to fill a whole shelf with them like figurines.

Yahoo Auction is usually the way many doll parts are sold. Buyee and WhiteRabbitExpress are some good proxy/forwarding services to import them. They can bid for you up to a money limit you demand.

I'd personally be more interested in something like that than most dolls, but that's probably because I'm biased towards model kits over figurines in general.
