Post suggestions to improve the board if you have any. Also a thread for questions or posts that don't need their own thread. Keep it tangentially /animu/ related and ignore people who complain about other boards or bring board drama here. Beyond that, archive everything you care about. You never know when /animu/ servers will be vore'd by a giant Miku Risa.

Ok, seems I don't have the power to change it, so we'll have to wait for BO to do it.
The second code snippet works though, so its a simple copy paste.

I volunteer the Berserk one though. Let's make something new.

>their contention is not that manifesting per se doesn't do anything, but that a lot of it risks turning people into greedy manipulators. You get a bunch of people who think the path to happiness is forcing the outside world to conform to their own desires at all costs. This seems to work at first, but breaks down after a while. Sometimes their desires have unexpected side effects. Sometimes their desires don't make them happy when they get them, or outright ruin their lives. And sometimes their desires make life miserable for everyone but themselves.

Not trying to vaguepost your ass and blueball you but this happens for a specific set of reasons and I don't want to turn this thread into /fringe/-/his/-/pol/ since explaining it would require walls of text, furthermore, I fear giving a wonky tl;dr.
But yeah, the kabbalists who engineered modern civilization understand all of this very well, not perfectly, or else they wouldn't have instituted such a grotesquely miserable system which has inescapable karmic consequences (despite their constant caution to "shift" that karmic weight, that blame onto the masses i.e. "you can deduce or even see we are evil but you ain't doing shit about it so it's on YOU lolololol), but very well. Which is exactly why they use this knowledge for malicious speculation.

Both it and the metric system feel weird to a Canuckistani because we use an awkward mix of both depending on what we're measuring. We measure driving distances with kilometres, but switch to feet when we measure our heights. I've even heard that in some parts of the country, people habitually combine metric and imperial in describing certain kinds of distances, but I've thankfully never bumped into that one myself.
>>113448
I personally think that the feet unit should be a smaller size, maybe closer to loli feet. And gallons should be replaced with however much a lolis mouth can hold.

After an arduous four years, it's time for a brand new rabbit rabbit thread!

When you wake up on the 1st of the month, if the first thing you say out loud is "rabbit rabbit rabbit", you'll be blessed with good luck for a month!

Every day it feels like things get crazier and crazier. But even when things seem dire, it won't do any good to let yourself get swept away by the chaos just because it's the path of least resistance. So while we're still on this wild rollercoaster of a lifetime, don't forget to take a moment to unwind and appreciate the little things, alright?

Vocabulary is a better way of describing it. With anki (at least the 2k deck) if feels more like learning kanji than vocabulary, which is why I wouldn't advice anons on using it. A beginner ~300 word deck might be good just so you don't have to look up every other kanji.

I dunno the details, check with dictionaries. English also has "throw, hurl, fling, toss, cast" and they mean the same thing, until they don't.
You might want to install yomitan if you haven't already.
>>115865
>using premade decks
Ah, so that's the problem. Premade decks are kinda shit, especially gigantic ones like vocab in any language.
I use anki by reading manga, checking in dictionary the words I don't know, then adding those to anki if I think they're worth learning. Sometimes later I re-read those part of manga I got the vocab from to see if I can understand everything without a dictionary. That way those words aren't just some random sounds and shapes in a vacuum, but actual words used in specific contexts.
To illustrate why premade decks are kinda trash, I'm at N3-N2 right now, but some deck made for N5 had a ton of bullshit words I never saw used anywhere, or obscure kanji usage that normally are just written with hiragana. But I only know that because I already read tons of things in jap, a newbie is gonna assume they're important and waste time on worthless memorization.

Absolutely do not do what the guide suggests, you're only going to waste time and get extremely frustrated and eventually burned out.
Again, premade decks are just words in a vacuum with almost zero context. Read manga, jap forums/twatter/youtube comments, and get vocab from there.
