So much potential squandered by managing incompetence from LucasArts and later Disney.

I'd say a community fan project could be developed, but the mousemuunikes would probably file for a lawsuit, why can't we have nice things? I want my cyberpunk open world Coruscant Force Unleashed style Star Wars game.

instead we got to explore shitty disney alien civilization in Fallen order.

Do you think they will ever do anything with Swars ever again once this Yidsney shitstreak dies out?
If they make another trilogy will it be a sequel to Yidsney trilogy?
Will Geogre buy it back?

>Andrology (from Ancient Greek: ἀνήρ, anēr, genitive ἀνδρός, andros, "man"; and -λογία, -logia) is the medical specialty that deals with male health.
>Gynaecology or gynecology (see spelling differences) is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive system.
>Androids are masculine humanoid robots.
>Gynoids are feminine humanoid robots.
>Droids are robots with neither if any sexual characteristics/features.
Was Lucas secretly pandering to tumblr even before the Internet came into being?
I'm honestly surprised SJW transhumanists haven't made R2-D2 their symbol of nonbinary liberation while railing on the evil bigot Android patriarchy that made the term Gynoid be associated with prostitution.

I don't think so, I guess he took An out of Android to get Droid, because it sounded cool.

Nah. Otherwise, female and male programming in droids wouldn't be a thing in-universe.

Is Satine Kryze the most glaring case of an unintentionally unsympathetic character in Lucas' Star Wars?
Replies: >>4648
Too be fair i tend to ignore that Clone Wars 3D cartoon, even if it was shat by Lucas himself. It just contradict too much the rest of the whole continuity, up to the movies themselves.

>>4648
Considering how corny their relationship was portrayed, yes. But again, 3D Clone Wars is gay.
Every time she appeared in a new episode it seemed like the show was building her up into a villain, but instead we are supposed to accept her as a good person who only isn't a worse politician than Padmé because she actually stuck to her retarded ideals.
And then you have her sister. God, I hate Bo-Katan and Filoni's bias for female antagonists.

Sadly stormtroopers are fucked by the highest source, the movies themselves. Movie stormtroopers are just a step from being bumbling fools. If they were at least half of the ones described in the EU...
Replies: >>3802 >>3805

What? The ones on the Tantive and Tatooine (except Mos Eisley) were competent, as well as some on the Death Star. And the ones on Hoth were destructive as fuck. The ones on Endor were a joke though.
Replies: >>3805
>>3800
Going to echo >>3802 on this one - Stormtroopers weren't portrayed as incompetent until Endor. They completely wrecked the security team onboard the Tantive IV and annihilated the Rebels on Hoth. Their famed inability to aim comes from so-called "fans" not paying attention during ANH - everyone seems to have missed Tarkin's line establishing that the Stormtroopers were missing on purpose in order to allow the Falcon to escape the Death Star.
Replies: >>3811
>>3805
Already in Bespin they were incompetent. They allowed the rebels to escape. There wasn't an order to allow them to escape like the DS. Vader demanded the prisoners to be sent to Executor, Calrissian betrayed him and the stormtroopers couldn't stop 3 people from escaping. Vader had to have people to deactivate the Falcon hyperdrive just in case to have any chance of recapturing then
>Endor
Endor alone would be the only example needed. It was a critical target, the very shield generator that protected the DS were the Emperor himself was stationed. They had the superior numbers and a defensive position. There was no way they could that disaster to happen. Even more "an entire legion of my best troops" as Palpatine had claimed.

Well, WEG did autistically named almost everything in the star wars universe.

Guaranteed Rebelboo Butthurt incoming

Let me tell you fags why this ship is actually probably one of the best Starfighters of it's generation.

For starters lots of retards tend to try and compare it to the X-Wing in an unfair comparison chart neglecting the fact that the ship is actually 20 years older than the X-Wing so they refuse to compare it to it's real competition like the R-41, Z-95 or even Y-Wing which for all purposes it absolutely dominates over.

Most Rebel Scum tend to cite it's lack of shields. Most Rebel Scum before they got ships like the X-Wing ended up dead. For starters while it does lack shields, the TIE Fighter is known for taking a glancing hit or two but it's armor protection is not what it should be reliant on. The TIE Fighter for all purposes is a pair of powerful cannons strapped to a highly efficient engine that not only gives it considerable speed but lets it turn on a dime. A TIE Fighter in fact will out-turn an X-Wing in a dogfight and for the Rebel Scum that are unfortunate enough to not have the privilege of flying a toy payed for by spoilt senator daughters misusing daddy's trust fund money, well we have found none left alive to comment.

Next what the uneducated masses wrongly criticise is the lack of life support and hyperdrive. They think this limits the ship's range but forget it gives it it's greatest advantage. Not only does it help reduce cost for a ship that is already remarkably cheap and easy to maintain, repair and replace, but

<incapable of long range missions
What for? It's not for privateers, it's for navy that has larger ships for long range missions. Thus it's unnecessary. And if it's unnecessary, it's dumped. Any non-essential hardware either takes place of something essential or adds more mass to haul around in a fight. The less, the better.

<muh strength in numbers
Yep.
<tied by the dick to ISDs
It's made for those who have carriers, yes. Well, they did. So, when it's a disadvantage?
<not having a tail gunner
Having wingmates. See "mass produced" and "strength in numbers". Also, good maneuverability helps.

There were TIE prototypes with missile launchers, shields and hyperdrive.

>Did it really has 20 years?
The first chronological appearance of TIEs I'm aware of is in Dawn of Defiance episode 3.
>The 12th Squadron is one of the first fighter squadrons to switch over from the now-antiquated V-wing starfighters to the cutting-edge TIE fighter.
Episode 4 of DoD takes place 2 years after Order 66 starts. The X-wing is finalized by 1BBY, though it is in the works by the end of DoD
>The console displays a ship design with which the heroes are utterly unfamiliar; it resembles a forced marriage of a large Z-95 Headhunter and an ARC-170. If the heroes ask Seejo about the ship, he begins chattering about a Deep Scout design that Subpro and Incom are jointly developing on the Outer Moon of Prakith—until one of the other engineers reminds the chatty Duros that secret does actually mean secret.

Pirated, of course. Yidsney can fuck right off. Don't ever let it touch your money.
That said, what do you guys think of it so far? So far it feels like it's supposed to be a space western. The whole thing about the MC taking care of baby Yoda is going over my head but the combat seems pretty good, and they're actually portraying assassin droids and Imperial walkers as the death machines they're meant to be. The main theme is also pretty great, and doesn't rely on John Williams for once.

It's so fucking obvious baby Yoda will either fall to the dark side completely and utterly, or have to go back with Mando and never develop his abilities.

If baby yoda is a female, she will be a Mary Sue, if baby yoda is a male, he will be the ultimate beta, telling people that the force is female.

It didn't make sense at all if you ask me. Vader valued loyalty above all else, the guy wasnt force sensitive at all, even with Frank hinting that the guy could be useful. Vader killed people for blunders, perceived or otherwise, but never for being efficient.
Replies: >>5279

Maybe it was a mercy killing? That's all I can think of. Like maybe he saw the guy would just be used as a tool for Palpatine and it was obvious he lived a painful life that only awaited more suffering. Best to have just ended it there.

Not justifying the ending, just what I try to think to personally justify it.

The first issue of the 1977 comic goes for about $25,000 last I checked.
