Now let's not get hasty, from what I heard, he's actually an avid gundam fan, and kong skull island was actually a pretty good film when it came out, so there's a possibility that the gundam and MGS films are gonna atleast be decent, which is all we can possibly ask for, cuz honestly I'm sick of seeing anime/video game based live action films being garbage, with the only exception being Alita battle angel, so hopefully these ones are gonna be good, but only time will tell

Close, actually the opposite since Street Fighter was a movie based off a video game, and War for Earth was an FMV game based off of the original Gundam anime (if very loosely)
