What do you know? The last thread hit the bump limit. Time to remake it.

Why aren't you sleeping tonight?

Oh man, I felt this voice thing. Especially with giving up on talking. Rarely do things hit so close home as this thing did

Working nights, so no sleep.

First time I've ever had a night shift job that actually works through the AM into morning. It's pretty miserable and I can't seem to sleep during the day for more than 4 hours, but it's also very quiet at night and I get a lot of studying done for my certifications/degree.

Never taking for granted getting to sleep at night ever again. We are not designed for this, at least not me. Been at it for months and my circadian rhythm still can't fully adapt.

Hope you're all having a good night.

This year should be better, but finances have kept me up most nights. I've decided that's not going to happen this next year and will be making some changes.

Graveyards change a person, survival for sure. I finally got pulled back to swing shifts after years of it - I still ain't right.Good luck out there.

Likewise.
Other half has Always Sunny on the TV, sure it was a funny show but it's a half hour of shouting. I grabbed a bagel and am hanging with you guys tonight instead of sleeping.

Have you tried triptans, assuming it's a clinical migraine? Also, you should be using butalbital.

Because of my complete inability to just let things go. Even if it would be smarter to do so for me and also of no real consequence.

Sleep is important so I like to get it out of the way first thing in the morning.

I wake up late and unironically go right back to bed after taking care of stuff like bathing and eating.

Hello, Anon.
>>3783
What are you doing to keep cool? I guess if it's hot enough there really isn't much you can do if you don't have access to a good cooling system.

Not him. Thank god, where I work, I have air conditioning.
At home, I only have a ceiling fan, which does the job, since it's not so hot anymore.

When it's hot and I'm alone, I tend to strip down to a wife beater and boxers. The hottest part of summer where I live only has an average high temperature in the low 80s, but there are still days in the 90s. I also keep a dehumidifier running that ends up making it hotter.

Most of the year I have the opposite problem and am waiting for the heat to show up.

i have a fan and a shitty old ac unit, it works well enough if its below ~34c but going over and it just dies, though its been cooler lately, only needed the fan on half strength to be able to sleep mostly confortably
