OK I've got it parted out. I'd start with the light foam portions first and then fit the dark parts together. Then start filling in by color or by shape which either is easier.

I tried making a 1900+ piece puzzle a while back and it was abandoned. Also, depending on your puter and internet connection, big puzzles can become impossible to work on.

IMO, that's primarily b/c most of it was pitch black with little to no detail. Makes for rough going in a large piece count.  :P
OTOH, this was specifically chosen b/c it has so many different 'fields of interest' subsets within the overall image, that it could easily be a large puzzle and still enjoyable.
