I really wanted to post this but there's nowhere that it fit so here it is. If anyone else has any toys that don't fit anywhere else then here's your thread.
Very cool, Anon. Thanks! BTW, we recently did a puzzle on this exact (IRL) car : ( >>>/comfy/19157, ...)

Does anyone else collect these?

I know the thing you're talking about.
>Non articulated
They vary. Most of the animals are non articulated except for some of the larger dinosaurs that have an articulated mouth. The dragons all have articulated mouths and wings. The golems and the robots are articulated like an action figure. There's a few rare ones like the lava scorpion and that shadow caterpillar that have multiple points of articulation.

Looks like we're starting from scratch (again). I'm sure we can rebuild ourselves, though we need some more anons to keep the board going. I'm fine with this place being advertised, but only when and where appropriate - no spamming links please.

>I'll have to check them out to see if it has any of the old posters there.
Unfortunately, if you recall some femoid got hold of anoncafe/doll/ and abruptly killed it just prior to anoncafe shutdown. Otherwise, it would have survived and we would have preserved that Webring treasure on Trashchan during the first migration here (the one from Anoncafe; the current PLW one being the second). I have only myself to blame; my apologies to the entire Webring for not claiming it myself. :/

So, our thread on /robowaifu/ is quite modest in comparison. If this is a specific interest for Anons, then I'd recommend the quite-good dollfag thread here on /animu/ : ( >>>/animu/73953 ).

Hey guys, /icup/ here with a question on how we're going to handle the next iteration of the Infinity Cup ( https://anon.cafe/icup/ )

We're trying to poll whether certain boards are interested in playing in the cup, or if there's some specific team that you'd like to see play. If you want to, please answer or add your own answer to the poll in https://poal.me/6x3j1u

>I feel the Hasbro 3.75" Indian Jones line is unfairly forgotten by many
I guess the reasons for that are: 1. 3.75" scale isn't as popular as it used to be 2. I could be wrong but to me it seems Indiana Jones isn't that much of a popular franchise.

>>-Nazi and Communist Russian soldiers (how many toylines have attempted this?) to please historyfags
No one would dare to that today for playline toys which is a shame.
>>-Articulated 3.75" horse
I gotta admit it was really impressive for it's time, even by today standards. It's mind-boggling me how few articulated horse toys there are, it's still mostly statues. It's like how the 5 PoA is still relevant to this very day, despite being long time outdated by all means one of the few bad things I would say about Kenner .
>>-Articulation averaged at about 13 POA though many figures had 14 POA
They used hinge joints for the hips though, shame.

>I mean, it had almost anything you could wish for
It's truly sad how playline action figures with vehicles and playsets are pretty much extinct.

>No one would dare to that today for playline toys which is a shame.
Definitely. I find it funny that Mola Ram came with a human skull chalice, a flaming and still beating human heart, and a sacrificial dagger so that children can re-enact human sacrifices. When I look at today's toys I can't help but feel they've been watered down.
>Noice, do you have some of the vehicles and playsets too?
Only have 1 small playset (it's more of a diorama piece, really) and 3 small vehicles - 2 motorbikes and the horse. I'm not usually a completionist either but Indiana Jones was a big part of my childhood and these figures are very good. I think they were discounted on the shelves where I seen them so they were cheap enough to collect, otherwise I would've stuck to my favourite characters. I needed 3 figures - 1 of those was an Indy variant - to complete them.

The only disappointing aspect of them is that they feel like they were statues that were cut and given joints. The sculpts are absolutely beautiful but sometimes they can hinder the range of motion of the joints.

>so that children can re-enact human sacrifices
That's totally rad, I wish there were some Aztec playline toys..I feel like Playmobil would be great a choice for that, but I doubt they will have the balls to pull that.

>The only disappointing aspect of them is that they feel like they were statues that were cut and given joints
Bummer, to me it's only seems true for that hinge hip joints.
