I really like this board and I'd be willing to help you moderate it if you need a hand.

This old Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends flash game lets you create your very own imaginary friend using a set of prebuilt body parts you can drag around, recolor and resize.
Here's my first creation using this tool, I repurposed a bunch of random body parts to serve as hair and other details to create this creature.
You can play it online here, make something cool and post it! Also available on Flashpoint which is what I am using to play it.
ooooooooo.ooo/?id=1dcb2926-decc-fa28-d9a1-b752b8922bcb
I also don't really understand how to run this game on my standalone flash player, it seems to require some custom launch command or something of the sort.

Presuming this is the post you're referring to : ( >>2612 (OP) ), then three reasons. First, you spammed cross-board links; don't do that. Second, Flash can be a very sketchy platform today; it's at least reasonable to be wary of it from unknown sources. Third, you left a hotlink to a site that is obscure at best. Given that I simply disabled that hotlink, I'd say I was rather moderate in response.
Replies: >>2617 >>2620
>>2616
I apologize for the cross-board links but it's the only way to get any sort of activity going. As for Flash being a sketchy platform today, this site and any other with Flash content nowadays uses Ruffle which runs inside a WebAssembly browser sandbox and its written in Rust, therefore accounting for its memory safety guarantees, effectively eliminating Flash's vulnerabilities altogether.
Replies: >>2618 >>2620 >>2621
>>2617
By this site, I referred to the flashpoint website.
>>2616
FWIW flashpoint is probably the biggest flash archive these days, even if that oooo domain is not that well known (you can download the whole shit, it's only 2.28TB).
Plus what >>2617 said, you don't have flash these days unless you go out your own way and use a browser which still supports npapi (not sure if anything besides pale moon still does that), and binary patch the flash plugin to remove the timebomb. Ruffle is running as a webassembly blob, it's not more insecure than any random website with javashit.

It's OK in this case. A little organic shilling is fine as long as you don't go overboard with it. We do it ourselves for Christmas, and everyone knows it's a yearly festival event. Given my concern over Flash as a platform itself, the combination of the 3 issues needed a response I deemed (in my admitted ignorance).

Fair point, and fully-granted. I'm quite ignorant of the ins & outs over Flash today -- my sole interest in it is our own @gta (founder & longtime-BO of /f/ across 3 different sites during the past). He's our second-in-command over at /robowaifu/ these days. My actions ITT were/are guided solely by my concern over the welfare of Trashchan & it's Anons.

Hi, welcome to The New New Thread. Same as The Old and Old Old Threads!
This is a thread allegedly for discussing TiTS and other games, I guess. And developing games. And stuff.
Despite this being a TiTS thread in name (for historical purposes), barely anyone here plays TiTS.
For further information on the game, I recommend you go here to ask.
https://forum.fenoxo.com/forums/trials-in-tainted-space.8/
For reasons of how long this thread's existed and how much fen's fucked up everything he's touched, there's a good chance the thread will have barely anything to do with fenoxo and his hugbox at any given point.

Oh I just opened up the console and saved it directly.
It seems to mostly work on lynxchan but only about a third of it is functioning on jschan.

I think it looks breddy gud tbh. As I understand things, the CSS on a Jschan site is quite a bit different than on a Lynxchan site. Simple as.

It is yeah. There's also kind of a harsh character limit on Jschan. I'm not sure if it's intrinsic or it's by admin fiat.

In the end it was pretty easy to get /f/ looking right again since it has a pretty simple theme.

Yeah, it's a nice job. I'm glad /f/ -- and this thread in particular -- is still around. Cheers.

is this the place to ask about animations? I m trying to specify balance and weight in animation as precise as possible or at least sufficient enough of a scene to be considered plausible...

basically just positioning lines in space..?

For a while, this flash existed on newgrounds before it was removed. I think I have the last extant copy of this flash.

It's stupid - a grudge against the then-popular anime theater.swf. But it's also proof that the community that created this flash existed, again for a brief period of time.

I like the music.
